The Streetmaster solar LED street light features a large yet discreet, integrated 20W solar panel located on top of the shade. The battery and LEDs are concealed inside the white polycarbonate diffuser. Utilizing highly efficient 2700lm Osram LEDs, the luminaire distributes an even 360° spread of light.
Installation is hassle-free with no wiring required. 4 stainless steel Allen screws on the collar secure the head to a 76mm column or lamp post, whether it's a new or existing installation. A single ON/OFF button on the rim of the light ensures a swift startup upon installation, after which it operates automatically (see below).
The super bright LED chips in daylight white (6000K) emit downward illumination, emphasizing the white color of the polycarbonate diffuser. This is ideal for areas such as car parks, walkways, or larger patio areas. The recommended mounting height for UK solar street lighting is 3-5m.
The Streetmaster Solar LED Street Light has a shape designed to emit light downwards in a 360-degree pattern, minimizing light pollution. It features a slimline appearance compared to other solar street lights like the Olympia Max. With an IP65 rating, the durable die-cast aluminium housing has a black finish that blends in with standard black poles. Paired with the UV-stop polycarbonate lamp cover, the Streetmaster is likely to withstand vandalism and accidental damage in a wide range of public spaces.
With as little as 5 hours of charge, this IP65 Solar Street Light will remain illuminated for up to 12 hours. It automatically turns on at dusk and turns off at dawn, following a gradual dimming sequence. Starting at 100% brightness at dusk, the Streetmaster dims to 80% after 1 hour, then 60% after another hour. After 4 hours, it further dims to 40% and finally 20% after 5 hours until the end of the cycle. This reduces light pollution during times when less light is required and fewer people are around. At this point, the Streetmaster functions as a low-level security light.
The large single silicon solar panel and high-capacity LiFePO4 battery ensure optimal charging and power retention. To maintain maximum performance and efficiency, clean the panel monthly, removing all dirt and debris. Even in the dullest weather conditions, our solar street lights will continue to illuminate. The low-level dimming sequence helps prolong the illumination time, particularly in poor weather conditions.
